New 1st Team Analyst Appointed

We are delighted to announce new 1st team Analyst Sion Herman to the Kingfishers.

Sion comes highly recommended and is currently in his 3rd year studying at University of South Wales (USW). A great addition to the team.

The Sport and Exercise Science student is from Rhayader, who has played senior football for Penybont and Newbridge-on-Wye over the last couple of seasons.

Sion has a passion for statistics and data analysis so has decided to concentrate on off the pitch rather than on it. On being appointed Sion said;

"This will be my first placement and I'm really looking forward to learning and gaining experience, I cant wait to get started, I've heard great things about the club and how they are trying to improve the club on and off the pitch."

Previous 1st team analyst Alex Jenkins, who recently took up a role at Hereford FC, will still offer his free time in mentoring Sion and give him the support he needs to make sure he hit the ground running for whenever the season is likely to start!
